Following the successful construction of schools in Bodé, Soutouta, and Hamdallaye Tessan, we were approached by residents of the village of Koudy.
Koudy is a village in southeastern Senegal, located in the Tambacounda region. It was founded in 1902 and has a population of around 2,000. The Soninke ethnic group is the largest in the village, followed by the Diakhanké and Pular. As a reminder, at the beginning of the month, we organized a clothing distribution for needy families, whose children were the main beneficiaries, wa hamdulilLah!
The current school, which we want to relocate to a building worthy of the name, was founded in 1987.
This school has two levels: elementary and middle school. It has a total of 217 students, not counting 50 women from the village who also attend evening classes.
The school consists of a building with three classrooms and a few straw and bamboo shelters.
Seven teachers, paid by generous donors, teach religious studies, Arabic, French, English, and secular subjects such as mathematics, physics and others. This brings the total number of subjects taught to 16.
Building on what we have already achieved together, you and us, in this blessed and important month in many respects, we are once again calling on you to be the instruments of our Creator in this noble project. The goal is to improve the learning conditions for the new generations of this village and, symbolically, for our entire community. For a community composed of educated and knowledgeable members is a community that is useful to itself and a bearer of great hope.
The amount we need to raise to complete this project is €94,105. This sum includes the construction of four classrooms, a room for teachers and the principal, several toilets, a soccer field, a veranda, new school benches, and a solar power system to make the school energy independent.
Based on this solidarity that is so common to us and so indispensable, based on the incredible significance of sincere Sadaqa Jariya, and finally based on this magnificent verse, let us act together!
Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah are like a grain of corn that produces seven ears, each ear containing a hundred grains. Allah multiplies the reward for whom He wills, and Allah’s bounty is immense, and He is All-Knowing.
Let us all be sowers of seeds during our life here on earth, so that we may reap the fruits in the hereafter.
To support us in this action is to trust an association that works solely in the seeking the pleasure of our Creator. Our priority is like that of everyone in our community, multiplying good deeds in order to reach Paradise with the Permission of Allah, Exalted is He.

Through this request to participate in patronage, know that it is your Creator who invites you to works of good. And don't forget that in our graves and on the scales, only our sincere works will count. This solidarity between you, the donors, us, the members of the association, and them, the beneficiaries, is in fact a set of links in the same chain, which we are forbidden to break.
“Surely those who give alms, whether they be men or women, and grant Allah an honorable loan, it will be multiplied for them and they will obtain a generous reward”. Sura Al Hadid n°57, verse 18.
Through Operation Kawthar, you have the opportunity through your donation, your sadaqa to contribute to the improvement of the daily life of the needy, to help the needy and to act for the environment in shaa Allah.

Created in 2012, Amana Projects is an association under the law of 1901, working for economic and social development in France and abroad. We set up actions of solidarity, fraternity and elaborate projects of co-development.
Since the members of the association are all volunteers, we seek only the pleasure of our Creator.
